Orcutt's Brodiaea

(Brodiaea orcuttii)

This flowering perennial is native to Southern California, where it is very difficult to find the species in the wild. The plant produces an inflorescence reaching no more than 10 inches in height. The bloom consists of six pink to purple tepals.
