Canada Goose

(Branta canadensis)

Native to temperate and arctic regions of North America, this bird has a black neck and head, a brown body, and a distinct white 'chinstrap'. They can grow up to 43 inches in length, and can weigh up to 15 pounds. This goose has become successful at living in populated areas, and is sometimes considered a pest species.
